To celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Pershing Elementary’s 1st-grade class taught by Mrs. Kuhn honored this day by making crafts and learning facts about his mission and vision for this world and racial reconciliation. Students throughout our Madera Unified School District, younger and older, are continuing to learn about Martin Luther King Jr.’s life, leadership, and how we can continue to steward his message into our lives.
