Alpha students showcase their artistic side / Los alumnos de Alpha muestran su lado artístico

Five years ago, the Alpha Elementary school staff came up with a creative idea to champion its aspiring student artists, by allowing them to publish their artwork on the cover of their school yearbook. This year, Alpha students were once again rewarded for their artistic endeavors, with the opportunity to brand their school publication with their own artwork, taking on the Alpha Gator mascot as their source of inspiration. The staff evaluated and ranked the student drawings by creativity, execution, and artistic qualities, eventually extracting three top winners from the many submissions.
Hace cinco años, el personal de la escuela primaria Alpha tuvo una idea creativa para premiar a sus alumnos aspirantes a artistas, permitiéndoles publicar sus obras de arte en la portada de su anuario escolar. Este año, los alumnos de Alpha fueron recompensados una vez más por sus esfuerzos artísticos, con la oportunidad de marcar su publicación escolar con sus propias obras de arte, tomando a la mascota del cocodrilo como fuente de inspiración. El personal evaluó y clasificó los dibujos de los estudiantes por su creatividad, ejecución y cualidades artísticas, extrayendo finalmente tres ganadores de entre los muchos presentados.
The We Believe Newspaper editorial team was inspired to publish their colorful artwork, further extending the exposure of their skills to the entire Madera community. Kudos to the kids and to the Alpha Elementary staff for empowering its school’s budding artists!
